Well now, I'll begin at the beginnin' ...
Someone asked me the other day why it was that I took so many pictures of clouds. They noticed that of my over 1500 pics on Instagram (@staylor70 on there) that there were around 1400 pics of the skies, mostly with clouds.
There's a simple reason: that's where everything ELSE is going on.
We all look at other people, the passing cars, the stores that pass by when we drive, the flora and fauna that surround us, and so on. But my curiosity tends to look skyward for many reasons. Not the least of which is the fact that sky is an ever-changing canvas, decorated with transient colors and textures.
It's a totally random configuration. Yet, it retains structure. Ask me about that some time. I'll even go into the math of it, if you'd like.
However, I prefer to leave the analysis behind and simply enjoy the variable results.
